This is the debut compilation of tracks from various cassettes by the African artist/s BANANA BRAINS. The existing material was produced years ago on mid-90s recording equipment at a bedroom studio dubbed the HIT HOUSE before being salvaged from a Joburg charity shop in 2012 and faithfully restored and collected here for the first time.

As was the initial intent, this limited edition splits the album into two uninterrupted 30-minute long tracks. In this way, SIDES A and B collect the individual PARTS I through IV, released monthly from September to December 2013 as digital previews on Bandcamp.

The CD-R is presented in a DVD box to accommodate the unique size of the album artwork and its accompanying booklet, which were originally designed to fit the tape format.
